This recipe was inspired by Half Baked Harvest's Banh Mi Bowls - I changed up the recipe some. I changed some of the ingredients to ingredients that more people are likely to use (myself included) and made the process a little bit easier and fewer dishes!
This recipe has become a staple in our house over the past few months. Our kiddos aren't the biggest fans of it but we continue to offer it for exposure, which is so so important

RJ loves this cucumber salad all on its own! So fresh!

The frozen rice I get! I purchase it from Target and it is ready to eat in 5 minutes. Plus I'm not entirely sure how to make sticky rice haha.
FAQ
Q. Do I have to use ground turkey?
A. Nope! Ground turkey is my preferred meat but you could use any ground meat, like ground chicken, ground beef, or ground pork.
Q. What is usually served with banh mi?
A. Banh mi is typically a sandwich rather than a bowl. You could serve a noodle salad, ramen broccoli slaw, spring roll, or pho.
