Health Benefits of Decreased Alcohol Intake
There are many health benefits to decreasing alcohol intake and we have seen a rise in mocktails and even cutting out alcohol completely!
Improved Liver Health: Alcohol can take a toll on your liver over time, leading to liver disease. By cutting out alcohol, you give your liver a chance to recover and function more efficiently, promoting overall liver health.
Better Sleep Quality: While alcohol might make you feel drowsy initially, it can disrupt your sleep cycles, leading to poor sleep quality. Cutting out alcohol can lead to more restful and rejuvenating sleep, leaving you feeling more refreshed and energized during the day.
Mental Clarity and Emotional Well-being: Alcohol can impair cognitive function and affect mood, leading to feelings of anxiety, depression, and irritability, especially with excessive or frequent consumption. Cutting out alcohol may lead to improved mental clarity, enhanced focus, and greater emotional stability.
Reduced Risk of Chronic Diseases: Excessive alcohol consumption is associated with an increased risk of various chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease, certain cancers, and neurological disorders. By eliminating alcohol from your lifestyle, you can lower your risk of developing these serious health conditions and improve your overall longevity.
Remember, while cutting out alcohol can offer numerous health benefits, it's essential to focus on overall lifestyle habits and consult with a healthcare professional for personalized guidance and support.
Storing
You can store in your fridge for a few days but be sure to mix the mocktail before serving as the liquids may have separated!

What You'll Need
Ingredients:
Coconut water - Coconut water is hydrating from the electrolytes it contains, but I do not like it plain so including it in a mocktail is a great way to consume it!
Pineapple juice - You can definitely use fresh pineapple juice but I just use store-bought pineapple juice to make it easier and it tastes great! This is the main ingredient of the drink so use what you love best!
Grapefruit juice - Fresh pressed grapefruit juice is also an option, but again I use store-bought!
Club soda - Club soda adds some carbonation to the drink, you could also use seltzer water!
Garnish - I love how mint leaves or a pineapple slice looks on these mocktails!Ice cubes - for fun shapes you can try these ice molds from Amazon - they have a variety of shapes!
Kitchen Equipment:
Cocktail shaker - You can use a cocktail shaker but it is not needed to mix your delicious drink!
